The next Invest Local area has been announced. The communities of Aberfan, Merthyr Vale and Mount Pleasant are the latest areas to join the scheme.

As Invest Local begins, the first challenge will be getting as many people within your community involved – whether that’s to give their views on the area, share their ideas for the future, or get involved in the process.

Three more communities have joined the Invest Local programme. Maesgeirchen (Gwynedd), Caerau (Bridgend) and Hubberston and Hakin (Pembrokeshire) are the latest communities to be part of the scheme.

Cefn Golau in Blaenau Gwent is the third community in Wales to join Invest Local.

Llwynhendy in Carmarthenshire has become the second Welsh community to join the Invest Local programme.
FIRST INVEST LOCAL AREA ANNOUNCED
The village of Penywaun in Rhondda Cynon Taf is the first community to agree to become involved in Invest Local.
