COMMUNITY NUMBER 10 ANNOUNCED
Phillipstown is the tenth community in Wales to join the Invest Local programme.
Phillipstown is an area of New Tredegar in the county borough of Caerphilly. After two public meetings, residents decided that they would like to take part in the programme.
Zunaira Hassan, Invest Local Officer for the area said:
“We’ve had a really enthusiastic response from the people of Phillipstown, and there is a real buzz about the programme. I’m really looking forward to working alongside local people, and seeing what the community comes up with as the priorities for the area over the next ten years.”
The final three communities to join the programme will be announced during the coming months.
