INVEST LOCAL YNYSOWEN’S NEWSLETTER KEEPS LOCAL PEOPLE INFORMED
Invest Local Ynysowen’s summer newsletter is out now, updating local residents about Invest Local and other groups, activities and projects in the area.
This summer edition is funded by Invest Local’s Shared Learning but Invest Local Ynysowen are hoping to make the newsletter sustainable in the future by selling advertising space to local businesses.
Invest Local Ynysowen volunteer Brendan D’Cruz said, "Communication is really important for community wellbeing because it keeps people aware of what's going on. And there is a lot going on, it's just that not everybody knows about it. We're now trying to help promote local businesses and small enterprises, as well as social and community groups, to highlight how vibrant and active our local community is."
Hard copies are currently being distributed across Aberfan, Merthyr Vale and Mount Pleasant and you can also read and share the newsletter below. Ynysowen are one of several Invest Local areas keeping local people informed via newsletters, others include Caerau, Plas Madoc, Clase and Pill.
