EXCITING PROJECT IN PLACE FOR CEFN GOLAU TOGETHER
The autumn half-term school holiday saw the timely launch of Cefn Golau Together’s MUGA (multi-use games area). The Invest Local Group in Cefn Golau, Tredegar (Blaenau Gwent) worked with Game On Wales, an initiative from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust and other local agencies, to create the open access sports court in response to the community’s request for more activities and facilities for young people in an area consultation.
Local sports clubs and agencies are now working with the community to create a programme of activities for the new MUGA.
The following video from the launch event shows the MUGA in action, being put through its paces by local young people enjoying the school holiday.
